Your first planned week.

Start with who’s eating. Choose a few meals you want to cook. Let the grocery list follow.

1. Choose your people and your meals.

Set the number of people you’re cooking for, then choose 7 or 14 meals. Each recipe and the grocery list use that same household size. Explore an example menu, or start with a week for two.

2. Read the recipes before choosing the week.

Check ingredients, equipment, and the full method. A grill recipe needs a grill; a slow-cooked dinner needs enough time. Our example weeks keep a fixed selection. To choose individual recipes and build your own menu, try the interactive meal planning demo.

3. Cook on your own schedule.

Pick any dish from the menu when you’re ready to cook. Each card links to a complete recipe with the right portions. There are no assigned days or mealtimes.

4. Check your kitchen, then save the list.

Open each grocery category. Check the pantry staples, compare the suggested pack sizes with your store, and account for what you already have. Use Save grocery list to take the dated list with you.

5. Shop and store for the actual cooking days.

A weekly list isn’t a reason to leave raw meat in the fridge all week. Freeze later-week proteins promptly or plan a second shopping trip. Keep dressings and delicate salad ingredients separate until serving.

Start with one usable week.

You don’t need a month of plans or a new set of containers. Try one week, notice what worked, and use that to choose the next one.
