Classic Cheeseburgers
Beef patties are topped with melted American cheese, pickle chips, and a mustard-mayo sauce, with crisp fries alongside.
Serves 4
Directions
Bake the frozen fries according to the package directions, spreading them in one layer.
Stir the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle brine together for the burger sauce.
Shape the beef gently into one patty per serving. Press a shallow dent in each center and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes without pressing them down.
Flip and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes, until the centers reach 160°F. Add the cheese during the last minute and cover briefly to melt.
Transfer the burgers to a plate. Toast the buns cut-side down in the skillet for 30 to 60 seconds.
Spread the buns with sauce, add the patties and pickles, and serve with the fries.
